How to Judge the Friction Coefficient of Polyurethane Casters?
Nov. 06, 2020
The extensive use of industrial PU Wheels not only promotes the progress of society but also exerts a great influence on the development of our lives. For example, the polyurethane casters in our furniture, the polyurethane casters in our chairs, and some large machinery in the industry have been used according to the polyurethane casters in order to facilitate the movement. It is conceivable that the use of polyurethane casters brings us much convenience. In the polyurethane casters, we see in our lives, it is not that it can be used after production, it is also through a series of tests can be encased, packaged and used.
1. Resistance performance test:
To test this performance, PU Castor Wheels should be kept dry and clean by placing the polyurethane casters on a metal plate with the ground edge, keeping the rim in contact with the metal plate, and loading 5% to 10% of their nominal load on the polyurethane casters. The resistance value between the polyurethane caster and the metal plate is measured by the edge resistance tester (nominal open-circuit voltage is 500V, the measured resistance value fluctuates within 10% and the loss on the product does not exceed 3W).For conductive polyurethane casters, the resistance should be no more than 104 euros, while the resistance of antistatic polyurethane casters should be between 105 and 107 euros.

2. Impact test:
Any article due to transport, use, preservation, and other conditions may produce collision vibration and make the product can not be used normally for a period of time, furniture because of its own large, weight and other characteristics are often susceptible to impact, and at the bottom of the decision whether the furniture is placed smoothly polyurethane casters should have good impact resistance performance.
3. Static load test:
Polyurethane casters should always run stably on the ground, but that is almost a purely theoretical state. Polyurethane casters leave the ground briefly on uneven surfaces, or over thresholds, tracks, and pits. So when they suddenly overload or when three out of four polyurethane casters touch the ground, they must carry the entire load of the furniture.
